John Edward Beitz

Mr. John Edward Beitz, age 62 of Speedwell, TN was born November 5, 1961 and passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at the UT Medical Center in Knoxville. John had a great work ethic as he owned and operated Halstead Springs since 1989. When John wasn't working, he was keeping in touch with loved ones. He enjoyed golfing and was known to be a very outgoing person, quick witted and always had a dry sense of humor.  If you knew John, he had a huge heart for animals and loved his dogs.

He was preceded in death by his father; James Beitz

He is survived by his mother; Jean Beitz, children; Kaitlin Beitz and Michael Reynolds, Rebecca Russ and husband Chris, granddaughter; Emilia Russ, brother; Gary Beitz and wife Lynn, sister; Denise Prohaska and husband Joe, special friends; all of his golfing buddies.

John is also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 6PM in the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel.
